What is DCORT? DCORT is a group of volunteers that have training and clearances to respond in a crisis on behalf of the County when Mental Health needs have been identified.

If there is a local crisis or emergency, a referral or request for DCORT involvement can be made directly to the York/Adams MH-MR Program by calling (717) 771-9618.  If the request or referral is needed after regular business hours, follow the prompts to get the on-call worker.

The Mission of the York-Adams Disaster Crisis Outreach and Referral Team is to provide high quality crisis intervention, psychological first-aid and support to individuals in the community who may have been affected by an accident, an emergency or a natural or manmade disaster.
